Thank you 2nd generation in Spain!! by Marianne Koefoed

This post is perhaps a little inusual for me as I normally don’t speak about “personal experiences” but when my daughter Louise Koefoed posted this picture below, I cannot but comment how happy and proud I am with this “history of our’s”, los Koefoed in Spain (Madrid) 😍 thanks to many circunstances, desicions along the way and hard work! 🚀
🌈Next week, 3rd of october 1983, I arrived to Madrid almost by coincidence, first time in Madrid and with the idea to stay here for some years… without knowing spanish, without my own job or our personal belongings… that is a different story…
To make it short, the stay here has turned out to be 42 wonderful years in Madrid, creating my proper 3 lines of businesses, 2 marvellous children (Louise and Enrique), 3 dogs and having participated in 4 associations (Camara Hispano Danesa being one of them).
⭐️Yes, with hard work and challenges on the way, without asking nobody for anything, these “danish spanish newcomers” have integrated and become 2nd generation here, including these precious moments in audiences with the King, Felipe VI of Spain. All by own merits. Thank you to circunstancies here, I’m sure I/we couldn’t have done it in another country than Spain (Madrid). Thank you for the opportunities that passed our ways!
